AM is a photography and video project ive been working on for two years. My friend, Cat who appears in the title image, gave me the inspiration. AM is a creative documentary project that will explore people's morning routines as soon as they wake up. AM became a video project as i began capturing quick interviews with people about these morning routines. AM should come to some form of conclusion in 2011 or 2012.

Black Gotham uses a series photography projects and walking tours to trace the African narratives in Lower Manhattan in Colonial and post-Colonial New York City. This tracing is driven by the creative process and the conversations on the walking tours. The Black Gotham project has its own dedicated web site and is scheduled to develop over the course of five years.

Portrait In Parts is an exploration of and challenge to portrait photography. The definition of portrait is more liberal and flexible than is generally used in practice. Portraiture photography is almost exclusively images of a subject’s face but there is more room for expression within this form that this series hopes to embark upon with a progressive take on the idea likeness.
