The Creative Cookie (TCC), founded in 2008, is a quirky peek into the life of an easily inspired New York based fashion blogger. TCC has taken its followers behind the scenes at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, into the missions of some amazing nonprofits, and around the tents during New York Fashion Week. In addition, the blog has served as a creative log outlining the experiences of its founder, Lesley Ware, as she journeys from an unsure artist to a writer, photographer, and seamstress.
Since the inception of The Creative Cookie, Lesley has written pieces for Jones and CLAM magazines and the DIY Business Association her photography has appeared on fashion-related sites, including TheYBF.com, We Love Colors and Essence Magazine. In the fall of 2011, Lesley became the featured model for TranquiliT, an eco-friendly clothing line.
Lesley loves creative people and adventures. She holds a Master's in Public Administration and is currently studying anything fashion she can get her hands on. When she’s not attending events, teaching pre-teen sewing classes, or making things you can find her spending time with her husband, stepson, and cat, Nina Bean.
