I adore Solange Knowles' style (she's also my secret hair inspiration)! This week she stunned partygoers at the Perrier-Jouët party at Bagatelle in NYC, which turned out to be a fancy fashion soirée. Solange looked amazing DJing in a printed paisley Stella McCartney mini and strappy stilettos.

I'll always remember photographing Solange in 2009 at the Toni Maticevski show which was one of the 1st New York Fashion Week runway shows that I attended. I very (very) shyly asked if I could snap photo and to my surprise she said yes! At that time I was super new to the fashion scene (and my Digital SLR). Last year at a Carol's Daughter product launch I was able to photograph her again wearing a lovely canary suit. This time I kinda knew what I was doing.
She's always so adorable, I'm hopeful that we can get more camera time in the future. I'd like to find out what she's using on her hair these days, too, it looks great.
