Morgan Hale is the Creative Cookie Studio Assistant and a New York City-based artist and weaver. She learned to weave and received her BFA in Fibers from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Her work is process-driven, centered around floor loom weaving. Recently, Morgan has been incorporating plaster into her woven work and uses the two contrasting materials to examine themes of time and perception. As well as fine art, she also creates functional goods by commission, working with clients to bring their vision to reality. Morgan enjoys sharing and teaching others about the magic of weaving and hopes to offer one-on-one floor loom classes in the future.
