Dress for Impressions / Lesley w. (The Creative Cookie)

Dress for Impressions 2011 is over but I figured it would not be complete without ME. I had grand visions of scheduling a photo shoot that documented some of my favorite outfits for blogging but alas, I had to take this photo with my computer. As my good friend Jo would say, "oh wells". 

Thank you to all the fantastic bloggers who sent in their photos -- some of you for the 2nd year in a row! I'm humbled that you took the time to share what you like to wear and thrilled that we could all celebrate Women's History month together! I'm super appreciative for all my loyal readers, too -- you inspire me to be my best creative self. Excuse my excessive sweetness but > xo!

To close this year's series of Dress for Impressions posts to celebrate women's history Month, I'm psyched to introduce you to my dear friend Tameka! Honestly there are 101 things I could say about her but I'm making an intentional effort to keep this short and sweet.

I will say that, we both:

• worked at the same national nonprofit
• are both from Michigan
• want to write many books
• love Janet Jackson
• have the same birthday, December 4th (go sagittarius!)

Say "happy friday" to Frieda! This is her 2nd year participating in Dress for Impressions and I'm thrilled to have her back. We met when a friend invited her to a brunch that my fiance and I frequently host & we instantly became blogging/brunch buddies & friends. Ashley and I met while interning for a production company during New York fashion week in 2009. I can't remember what designer's show it was but I do remember hanging out backstage and giggling every opportunity we could find.
